Cubase How to Stream/Record Audio Output to OBS

Helpful video! For someone maybe obvious, but when you want to play live and also want your Cubase effects to be heard LIVE on stream/OBS, then you need to turn on "Monitor" of specific track in Cubase (it is the "speaker icon"). Also you may want to consider downmix your audio source to mono in OBS (cogwheel->Advanced Audio Properties->Check "Mono").

At 2:09 if you don't see a cog on your setup, you can click the 3 dots or right click the channel in the audio mixer section, in order to find "filters".

I spent whole evening to find out that this doesn't work with 44100 kHz setup. If you'll get sluttering or crackling audio - Check your "project setup sample rate" in Cubase - it has to be 48000 kHz/24bit. And your sample rate setup in "OBS sound settings" has to be same! This is something which should be mentioned in the first place...but no guide about reaplugs did not mention that!

I also had to go into properties of the the added source on OBS and select an unused device instead of leaving it on Default otherwise it was still capturing mic input on my audio interface

That's cool and seems as everybody is managing to use it correctly however, after installing the plugin, making sure it's installed under this location: C:\ProgramFiles\Vstplugins\ReaPlugs, my version of Cubase it's not able to find it and that's where I am right now, is there any possible workaround to this?

i discovered a new solution to seperate the cubase track and vocal track from each other (cubase vocal track not the obs one) without any fucking banana meeter gay shit!!!!! i spent days to figure it out!!!!!! tears of joy dropped from my eyes, I'm dedecating 5 min to those who suffered like me. do everything you saw on youtube (putting the standalone plugin on the stereo out and then insert it again in obs on the voice input exactly like the video) the only problem is that your mic in cubase will blend in the steroout - so in order to separate it, press fucking F3 in your keyboard in cubase and create a fucking new stereo out ( you vocal audio track in cubase route it to the new stereo out you just created) and do the same prosses again (both in cubase and obs ) the only problem left here is that obs trigers your mic signal even if cubase is not running, and you cant disable it for god sake! - so what idid is I went to my PC sound settings- and I lowerd the volume of my mic interface to 0 ( it didn't affect the cubase at all!!!!! it only affected the obs unsdisabable signal!) thinking outside the box baby lets go I would look at your mixer in cubase, and make sure your stereo in channel is all the way down. Also make check your audio sources in OBS and make sure your not unintentioally recording your mic input
