@GuitaristEliKing Have you installed any VST instruments after you installed Cubase? You can also use native Cubase instruments instead - they should show up when you press F11 and click on the first instrument slot.

@muleek123 i believe you drag it along, like click the side fo the note then drag it to the right to make it bigger or to the left to make it smaller, im not sure, hope it works tho :)

@Lazl0ow It's the other way around for me - I get totally lost in FL Studio =) But you need to assign a VST instrument to before you hear any sounds from the notes you put in the piano roll.

I feel terrible.. I do know my way around FL studio, but this is just madness in my eyes.. If I do exactly what you did, I do open the piano roll, but I can't hear anything when playing! Any ideas? I feel like such a newbie right now...

Hey I was wondering what a good Piano VST is that I can use. I'm working on a fusion song with some crazy piano and my keyboard sounds like a shit sandwich and I can barely play the music in the song I wrote cause I'm a bassist and a guitarist xD The Halion One or whatever it's called sounds pretty fake to me. Do you know of a Piano VST that sounds like a good solid piano?

@amitbeg You need to load a VST instrument (F11) and then set the midi track to play that instrument. I'll try to create some more tutorials soon to go through more of the basics.
