How do you copy & paste channelstrip order &settings to another track? Can't figure it out...plz

When a track has automation ,is there a way to change the volume by moving the tracks fader and all automation of that tracks moves accordingly

hello, almost 10 years ago i recorded MIDI song data to Cubase, songs originally composed on a Roland hardware sequencer (96tpqn) transferred to a Yamaha hardware sequencer (480tpqn) and then finally recorded to Cubase on one Cubase MIDI track, about 8 to 9 different MIDI channels of song data all recorded on to one Cubase MIDI track, Mr. Ondo, can these MIDI tracks be separated on to their own seperate MIDI tracks on Cubase 13? thanks!

Select the event, go to MIDI - dissolve part and choose separate channels.

@@Cubase thank you, very simple solution, each song/multiple MIDI channel data was recorded on separate single Cubase MIDI tracks so one should be able to use your described method and have each "song" expanded into individual song/projects, thanks again and really appreciate all the informative KZbin instructional videos!

​@@Cubase so I quickly tested on song, yes, your described method worked but a few glitches; the process took a fairly long time to complete with no "progress box", just a non-responsive Cubase state, I was about to go to Task Manager (Windows 10) and shut down Cubase when suddenly all the separate MIDI tracks appeared with single MIDI channel data in each MIDI track, it works. I originally used a Roland VA- sound canvas (vst) as a sound source and the separated MIDI tracks recopied a VA sound Canvas (vst) for each MIDI track. The original Cubase MIDI track (with all MIDI channel song data combined would NOT play any sound through the VA Sound Canvas (vst) just silence, weird but the separated MIDI tracks perfectly played MIDI song data with an instance of VA Sound Canvas (vst) in each newly created MIDI track. The process works but some weird glitches noted, I'm on Cubase Pro 13, thanks again Greg Ondo/Cubase!
