The spring noise on your Yuxin can be fixed by removing the centre tiles and adding a few drops of silicon lubricant (like traxxas 50k) to the screws where the springs touch. This is really heavy sticky stuff so it has to be broken in or the excess wiped off before the gummy feel disappears. The cube3 cube is my preferred cube for magic, and can be tightened with a screw driver by removing the centre caps. Aim to get even tensions equal all round by pulling opposite sides and eyeballing the size of the gaps you make. You can also use a small drop of silicon lubricant to make it turn smoothly and make it really quiet. Once setup mine makes a soft clopping noise when I solve it at speed, but is silent for secret moves.

I love your videos magicorthodoxy. It has that unique style to it and the reviews are amazing! I have been watching more recently since you have been uploading more rubik's cube videos and I love Rubik's cubes. But I love your magic trick reviews just as much because I have that same passion for card tricks that I do for rubik's cubes. Keep up the great work.

Qiyi Warrior W and Mofang Jiaoshi MF3RS can both be had for less than £5 each. Great cubes easily capable of sub 15 second solves (if you're good enough of course! - I'm not... yet. :)). I have a Warrior W which I added magnets to yesterday (the magnets cost around £2.60) and it feels great.

YES!! I love the MF3RS2 M. It is a good cube for the price! I also love the Cubicle GANS 356 Air SM. Thats just my opinion but it does last forever! I've had my sm for a couple of months now and it is still in good condition. I average around 20 seconds but I wouldn't really recommend the GAN Air SM to new solvers only because I wouldn't know if they would want to spend $50.00 on a rubik's cube then come to find out that they don't actually like cubing. for new cubers, I would recommend the Qiyi Sail, or Qiyi MGC, or the Mofang MF3RS2. They are all great cubes for cheap prices and you can find them all (and more) on thecubicle.us.

Hi there! Since I got it but can't really solve it quickly cause it's soooo loose and it never gets into the correct position after I rotate any of the faces (also tried to tighten it with no good results) I was wondering if i could put magnets in it to partially fix this problem. Do you know if I can do it with rd cube? Thank you. Ps: as it is its almost impossibile to perform even the basic cube3 one handed 4 moves, I am so disappointed since it's soooo silent, that's great, but can't use it as I wish! 😥

Hey, nice review! Offtopic: have you got a review for Any Card at Any Number by Matthew Johnson? If you haven't got one, can you please tell me if that ACAAN trick requires a gimmicked deck of cards or not?

Hi, Can you please help me ? Some of the lids from the corner pieces has fallen out and I am not being able to put them back together in their right place because I can not solve the cube. Can you please tell me how to put back together the corner lids in their correct order ? I am asking you because I have not received any answers from Henry Harrius website. Thank you!!

I use the QiYi (pronounced chi-yee) Sail. It's a well priced cube (£2.89 or about $5) and with a bit of lube it's really silent. I've been wanting to get my hands on an Aroura for a long time but have never got round to it. Might get the RD Regular though now that you recommend it! (I only buy things that you say are good 😊)

No, magic effects are not puzzles. I regret that I can’t credit the source, but someone said there’s a difference between not knowing how something is done and believing it to be impossible. If you see someone do a puzzle and try to figure it out, you see it as a challenge, but there’s no mystery. You shouldn’t try to figure out how a magic trick is done because you can’t believe it actually happened. They’re very different.
@magicorthodoxy5 жыл бұрын
I don't think all magic comes off as being "impossible " that's why they're called magic "tricks" and why some people ask "how did you do that?" Their question implies that "knowledge" is what separates the magician from the spectator
@sarcasticscapegoat59953 жыл бұрын
@@magicorthodoxy Yes, magic is the perception of impossible not that the spectators actually think it's impossible. I always try and figure out how magic is accomplished but put me in front of a jigsaw and I have no interest.
