@@magicorthodoxy hey great video as always. I’m trying so hard to find a place in the USA that has it especially because I’m nervous about getting it over the pond with tech products in the past sometimes even with things like mystery smoke I still have two broken units and I never even performed with it just overtime the coils burnt out or some thing and it just doesn’t work I have done so much testing so much time with it so basically it’s not gonna hold me back from ordering the UK but if you have any places in the USA that you know has it No vanishing is getting it next month or some thing it says on their website but I don’t know how accurate it is so someone told me Saturn has it I shall see once I hear back from you of course if you could do some digging briefly. Thank you as always

I didn’t think this was for me at first. But this is the review that made me order it. It arrived this week, (took the postal service a while, which is now the new ‘normal’ for the USPS); and I love it. Thanks for this review. It gave me everything I needed to turn me around from, “Nah...”, to “Gotta have one”. And, like I said, it’s a good purchase for me. Also, I’m not one of the lurkers. I subscribed a while back! 👍🏼

Love your videos, please keep up the good work. Some minor feedback - Your favourite creator could probably be treated with a bit more objectivity (He s great, we all love him, no offense) In every video, you at least mention one negative. This video did not have that section Probably the following negatives should be pointed out - 1. 100 USD is too steep a price for this, as it's just one trick. For that price I can get both SNAPS and FPS wallet (both top notch, and with multiple utilities) 2. Prop is not examinable, and maybe you could mention something about how durable this is, will it survive rough handling etc.) 3. There are some comments on durability issues with the device. They could probably be mentioned.

I just don't understand why magic advertisements can get away with dishonesty. The ad video literally says "BORROWED SHARPIE." So it's borrowed, but only if you switch it out for the non-borrowed one? Ridiculous.

Yeah, this is the kind of magic I don't find very impressive. If I had genuine magic powers, would I really be using them to make a quarter that I'd balanced on a pen cap fall off? I don't think so. And would the audience care one way or the other? I don't think so either.
@magicorthodoxy4 жыл бұрын
I'd do it as a "collective energy" effective that you can only do when other people hold hands around the table. We all focus on making the quarter fall off and on the count of three we all shout - and then it happens. You could combine it with patter about the "words we say, and the power of speech."
@henryharrius4 жыл бұрын
In layman pov: The cap is just something you happens to have with you so that you can balance their coin on top. So that it can drop. You can give a search around you and try several items (some acting), and finally decide to use a cap since it can fit inside the glass. The "coin drop" is also power and essential to the trick. The coin dropping sound makes the trick more dramatic, creates large sound and tension. I have performed this for a long time and it KILLS layman. Especially when everyone including you walk very far from the coin.
@2000WTube4 жыл бұрын
The many lurkers you’ve mentioned are maybe laymen and you spoil the fun...?!💡 Did you ever criticized any effect? Guess that’s what will happen if you get the stuff for free. Don’t bite the hand that feeds you right.
@magicorthodoxy4 жыл бұрын
all my reviews have a negative and a positive - I tell both sides of what I like and don't like - I leave it up to you to decide if it's magic you would purchase.

A vibrating cap ? It's suck i have better a dice with a regular Sharpie cap and a glass onto waouwww same effect with 2 object instead one
@unclejoe79584 жыл бұрын
I would only use something like this for Halloween 👻. The premise being you the mentalist are using psychokinesis or it’s from the spiritual realm. Either way I think it’s overpriced for a one trick wonder that needs charging and isn’t examinable. Mentalists hate magicians performing with these toys simply because they dumb down the effect.
@magicorthodoxy4 жыл бұрын
the switch to make it examinable is fast and easy - Henry teaches one
@henryharrius4 жыл бұрын
Let me talk in layman language: 1. Perform with spectator's coin. 2. With ordinary sharpie, can even be borrowed. 3. Every items including the sharpie are examinable BEFORE & AFTER. 4. It's the coin that falls. The cap is just something that happens to be something you have beside you, for you to balance on top, so that the borrowed coin can "fall".

I really don't understand Rubik's Cube tricks. Isn't it actually far more impressive to just solve the Rubik's Cube? Also the fact that magicians think that a Rubik's Cube is a normal everyday object just proves that we're all a bunch of nerds. "Observe, this ordinary Rubik's Cube like you yourself likely have at home..." Spectator is like "what is that thing?:" haha.
@magicorthodoxy4 жыл бұрын
there is still a big community of cubers - mostly speed cubing
@seanissomething4 жыл бұрын
@@magicorthodoxy Yes, I myself can solve a Rubik's Cube in around 40 seconds, and my brother is a more avid speed cuber than myself and can solve in around 20 seconds. But I realise that if I go to a bar or something to perform magic, the average Joe and Jane that I would meet there most likely don't own a Rubik's Cube. It's not an everyday object in the way a phone or a coin or a soda can are. Most people don't know how one works, or the mechanics behind it, or how rare a "self-solving" cube would even be. They might think you can just pick one up from a gadget shop. Most of the people would probably be more impressed with me just solving the cube in 40 seconds.
