Love the cube escape collection but some of these “puzzles” are insanely convoluted. Puzzles like this should be difficult and challenging but logically sound... some of these just seem to come out of nowhere until you randomly figure out what you’re supposed to do and then realize the connection afterwards only to be left wondering, “who in the actual fuck would think to do this series of moves?” I don’t know, I still love CE and will continue to play the games put out by Rusty Lake but I really feel like they need to make more logically sound puzzles or give more sensible clues where you can actually figure it out after a while. Without the guide I certainly would not have finished The Cave.

I'm currently trying out these series as I'm a big fan of escape games, and it took me to play this game three times to fully understand it, the map part was super confusing, I solved it completely by trying to guess it all the first time and missed the morse code puzzle because I didn't zoom on the sheet. 😂 Still great games, I love its style and story. 😁

@@Silver-j7e Well, I don't know your personal preferences, but app-wise, if you want something casual, I recommend You Must Escape series by Appsfusion and Can You Escape series by Mobigrow. If you're into creepy and bizarre stuff, you may try out Forgotten Hill franchise, and if you like kawaii and colorful stuff, my other recommendation would be Nicolet JP games. If you prefer playing on computer, I suggest looking up games by ⚙️Neutral, and I strongly recommend Submachine series by Mateusz Skutnik. Only mind that those two lastly mentioned series were released a decade or more ago, so unless you find them adapted to modern launchers somewhere, you might need a Flashpoint program to be able to play them, just make sure you have a good anti-virus just in case.

And English wasn't my thing but I'm going to try it. First of all, you can see a pic of a palace or something like this and orders you to move 3 left on X and 2 down on Y, and 40 of depth. Then, you go to the map and locate the palace of the pic, and you move 3 left on X and 2 down on Y and you go to the point X = 3, Y = 5. On the radar you locate that point and the point where you are located, so you have to move 5 up and 4 left to arrive to that point.

when you click on a hole of a tentacle then it will fill-up two holes of that tentacle, remaining tentacles will be filled with one hole which is/are beside the first one you clicked. tips is, start from the left or right pair, don't start from the middle. Though Ooze Games videos are fantastic & helpful, you can take a glance at my video in my channel. I've also created my own with subtitles for more transparencies. =)

After they drink from it they become part of the Shadows, transdimensional beings able to alter and exist through the past and the future. William is the first to drink the elixir, he is the first Shadow, next is Aldous, the Crow and so on. Furthermore you can search for Aldous Huxley's 'The Doors of Perception' in Wikipedia.
