Cube Stereo 160 als Mullet? [29 Zoll] - SOB Opening

Das Cube Stereo 160 kommt mit 27.5 vorne und hinten, von meinen Biobike bin ich jedoch das schöne Abrollverhalten der 29 zoll Reifen gewöhnt. Also habe ich ein Experiment gewagt und habe in meiner Gabel den 29 Zoll Reifen eingebaut, ich hatte zwar wenig Luft aber es fuhr sich hervorragend! Wie steht Ihr dazu? Neue Gabel holen oder bei 27.5 bleiben?

I prefer to drive it with 29 inches, but on the Cube 160 this changes the geometry and the steering angle becomes steeper.

One quesrion. You put a 29 weel in the 27,5 Fox 38 170 fork?? 😳 I have the same bike but I was trying to make this option but is not possible...

Hi yes your are right. But the space between the tires and the fork bridge was too tight for me, but it worked and I converted it. you have to keep in mind that the geometry also changes as a result.

Hi, ich würde die Kamera etwas höher ausrichten, das man etwas mehr vom Trail sieht und ein Tick weniger oberrohr. Ansonsten cooler Kanal und weiter so!

Besser als der Flowtrail sind die DH und alle versteckten Strecken, Sonntag gehts für mich hin. Na und wer Springen lernen will, der MUSS ganz klar nach Stromberg auf den Wildhog bzw. Fortgeschrittene auf den NoJokes natürlich abhängig von wo du kommst .

Die DH finde ich persönlich auch mit am besten! Stromberg habe ich tatsächlich noch offen, hat sich bis jetzt einfach noch nicht ergeben 😁

Aktuell eine FOX 38 Performance, ich fahre aber wieder 27,5 vorne das der Platz zwischen Gabelbrücke und 29er reifen mir zu eng war.

Mit neuer Gabel sollte es aber gehen oder? Überlege auch vorne 29 drauf zu machen.

Wenn du das machst ist mein Tipp den Steuersatz neu zu machen, da wurde leider an Material Wertigkeit gespart... 🙂

Man hört auf deinen Videos deutlich deinen Float X. Der klappert wie Hölle und sollte mal zu Fox. Ist bekannt und kostenlos. ;-)

You really need to get that shock rebuilt under warranty, it sounds awful.

the sount does not come from the shock but from the battery cover. Unfortunately, this is a problem with the Cube

@flowlineandfun No, this is 100% your shock. I own a bike shop in the UK and we are a Cube dealer. All of the bikes from 2022 fitted with the Float X shock has this problem. This is all TM and AT models from 2022-2023. I can guarantee that noise will stop, if you send your shock off to be rebuild by Fox under warranty. I personally own and ride a 2022 AT 160, which made this exact same knocking noise and since the rebuild, it is completely silent, trust me. Take your battery and cover off the bike and ride around with power switched off, you will see the noise is still there.
