I got this cube 2 days ago. I was maining the tornado V3 prior to getting this cube and I decided not to grab the other moyu cubes because I assumed they would eventually release a WRM. I had a similar out of the box experience, it felt really rough but a half turn on the screw, four clicks on the adjustment system and a ton of lube and now it's just amazing. By the way I highly recommend tightening the screws because it helps with the corner twisting issue.

The reason it's called wrm v9 is because it is the 9th cube in the weilong line which contains the weilong v1,the weilong v2,the gts 1,the gts 2,the gts 3,the wrm 2019,the wrm 2020,the wrm 2021 and the wrm 2023 or v9

Why? Screws has way more options, you cant go to 3.5 on a tornado v3, and you do can adjust screws to the same tension. Btw, the flagship is the v9, the super weilong (v10) is just.. idk, that cube is too much. At least they give shit besides the cube for gan price

Fun fact: The gan 356 maglev is faster than the v9. Or my one was anyway the gan 356 maglev *ON LOOSEST SETTINGS* pops and explodes more than the GAN 14 and has better auto-alignment than the moyu v9!

Weilong’s ever since they first came out years ago are always horrible out of the box, but after 200 solves they get insanely smooth and with a little bit of tensioning and lube they’re amazing. This one seems like it’s a call back to the weilong gts in some respects which was one of the best cubes ever

The reason it is called V9 because the weilong series started from Weilong v1, weilong v2, GTSM, , GTS2M, GTS3M, WRM, WRM 2020, WRM 2021, AND WRM V9, it is the 9th cube of the weilong 3x3 series but it should be the 10th because there is WRM maglev

If you find the V9 to be too uncontrollable you can use the springs from an other moyu cube and replace the maglev. It helps alot

@CubeFace and @CubeHead. Would you recommend any cube for me. I am looking for a new one my previous one was moyu rs3m 2020 and I forgot it lube it. I'm averaging about 40-50 secs. I don't know what cube I should buy. Budget $40. I'm thinking about gan 356 x v2 and gan 356 xs or Moyu weilong WR M 2021 mayby maglev version or tornado v3. Wich one choose and are worth it now. Is speed stacks timer worth it? And should I choose gen 4 or gen 5. GR8 VID. You're best cubing ytber.
