You don't need to connect both, you can do with only the timer, you need to go to settings and select "use a regular" cube. Also you can even connect gan timer with cstimer :) Great vid

Also a thought if anyone reads this, the mats come with pre-set holes in them for certain timers, but the Halo timer doesn’t fit this width, could the potential be there to choose which timer you will use the mat for and thereby holes specific to that outcome? (Sorry, I used the word holes too many times in one sentence and it no longer sounds like a word 😂) Holes

@CubeFace and @CubeHead. Would you recommend any cube for me. I am looking for a new one my previous one was moyu rs3m 2020 and I forgot it lube it. I'm averaging about 40-50 secs. I don't know what cube I should buy. Budget $30. I'm thinking about gan 356 x v2 and gan 356 xs. Wich one choose and should i buy it now. Is speed stacks timer worth it? And choose gen 4 or gen 5.
