Love all these ideas! For the people complaining about the style...it's easily customizable. Use your imagination please. Wrapping paper/wall paper and mats come in various designs. Just choose what would fit in your office and be acceptable. Battery operated lights, even fake plants, trays and baskets for holding items, the display box for pens and pencils all very cute ideas that can be easily customized and incorporated. From a Human Resources standpoint the boob mat is HIGHLY INAPPROPRIATE and would need to be removed immediately....no matter the industry or “progressive” the company.

Agree, including anything requiring electricity that is not your computer, phone, or phone charger, or any scents. Most people don't have magnetic wall panels or little adjustable shelves either.

yourmomdoes lol that’s not true at all. Every office I’ve worked in was fine with having a small essential oil diffuser plugged into my computer, as long as it didn’t affect the rest of the office. To be fair to your comment, I have only had one office that had cubical walls with grooves to attach things to.

You probably should mention that if you're going to use plants in your cubical, make sure they're either fake or plants that don't require much light.

I was a bit disappointed. I think it could have been far more professional and sophisticated and the "boob bathmat is very inappropriate not to mention had nothing to do with the decor or apparent theme. Some solid colored wrapping paper and some coordinating containers to hold things ie pens, scissors, stationary supplies etc would be far more useful and attractive.

What do you do, if you don't even have a cubicle space? All I have is a computer desk with double monitor and filing cabinets underneath the space. I do have a wall area that currently has one long shared cork and a smaller cork closer to me. It's a open office with 5 computer stations for everyone who works in library technical services.

Nice idea, but at my work for instance you aren't allowed to have plants or put anything on the walls. That makes it a lot harder to spruce up your work space, especially when working in an open office concept.
