Hey Dadverb, We actually bought one of these. I would suggest redoing this video because these baby monitors are the WORST. They are so expensive for something that doesn't work properly. I would suggest checking out the Amazon reviews. The ai doesn't work - it either gives so many false positives that you end up turning the notifications off just to get some sleep or it doesn't detect that your baby is actually face down. It always has trouble connecting to WiFi and has constant app errors. It also stops working randomly in the middle of the night and takes forever to login in to the app again or just doesn't. It was such a headache and we had to report so many issues. They even sent us a replacement, which did the EXACT same thing so we asked for a refund and were denied and offered another replacement. We have ZERO trust on this baby monitor and it has been frustrating and disappointing. BUY ANY OTHER BABY MONITOR!!

Have had the Cubo AI for a couple months now and i absolutely love it! Customer service is exceptional and the quality of the camera is amazing! never had any disconnection issues, thats probably because the my router is pretty much next to it! great discount code provided, i paid £199 for mine! already bought a second one for a great gift!

Another thing I love is that it alerts to your phone or Apple Watch, i saw another KZbin couple who were the dad was deaf so this made it very easy for him to get the alerts

I changed mind and returned the Nanit Plus. Got it under $200 and it is very nice. Feels high quality and easy setup. I am very happy with it and feel it does everything I would want. Breathing monitoring is nice but honestly is more of a stress for our family. I liked knowing this would catch issues. The mounting pieces included is also very good value. The arm attached to the crib does feel a little shaky but not sure it really matters.

We have had our Cubo here in the UK since January. Huge problems setting up initially. The support from the Cubo team was and is fantastic though. Great camera, great quality. Not the easiest to move around though, would love additional, smaller, even lower quality cameras to add to the app so we can use downstairs etc.

Hi there, just wondering if you had a bunch of connection issues with your Nanit. Mine keeps disconnecting and I wonder if it is an issue with my unit or a problem everyone has. E.g. I woke up this morning with no audio or video feed to my six month old, apparently it hasn't been working since 2 am (4hours) 🤷🏽‍♀️ seems crazy for an expensive unit like this. Thanks!

What is your opinion of using the Nest indoor camera as a baby monitor? Our home uses the Nest ecosystem.

Perfectly cool with Nest or any camera that is already part of your ecosystem. There are several bells-and-whistles that baby monitors have that you may miss out on...but honestly you don’t need those things. If all you need is just to check on the baby on occasion then you’re all set. I’d maybe get a cheap audio monitor just to have continuous audio monitoring.

There is a whole community on Facebook where there is tons of evidence that Cubo is riddled with software flaws. The unit needs near perfect WiFi conditions in order to function properly. I've had mine for almost a year now and have had a handful of issues, along with a ton of other people. Wish I could return mine, but am stuck with the $299.00 purchase.. would have rather invested that kind of money in the Nanit.

Can you see if there's a baby monitor that is video, good camera view, two way speaker you can go very loud so you can hear when baby is crying incase you're a heavy sleeper but the main thing is I'm looking for a baby monitor that informs you when you're gone out of reach of cam

We originally had the CocoonCam that had breathing but they went belly up due to covid and the cam stopped working so I replaced it with a Wyze cam over the crib. Our kid is now over 1 so breathing monitoring is a little less important of a feature in a baby cam. I already have the several wyze pan cam throughout the house. I actually really like the wyze cam as a baby monitor because you can pop a micro sd card in and have it record and can seamless rewind back to see what happened which has been an awesome feature.

It has a strong similarity to tp-link NC450 how it looks and how the program works. The only different is the humidity sensor and the fact that CUBO AI can't rotate 360 degree horizontally only up and down. And that CUBO AI only can be placed in the same direction as how a bird is sitting on a branch is a bit downfall.. but that is my opinion.

Don’t quite understand how it proactively detects baby hazard comparing to Nanit

Nanit, Owlet and Miku alerts you once their sensors find that the baby stops breathing altogether. Cubo isn’t capable of doing that, but instead tries to alert you if an object is obstructing the baby’s face or if the baby is face down into the mattress. Full transparency, our baby is a tummy sleeper so that feature wasn’t necessary for us.

I recommend getting a sound and video monitor a sound monitor with batteries because if the power or WiFi goes out you can still hear the baby and you can go all out with video monitor if you want it a great sound monitor is the vtech

bought this after viewing this video, but unfortunately, the worse camera ever ! every evening since we have had it, it had problems viewing the live feed with a notification in the app that they are experiencing issues. i get that sometimes happen, but it's every day now. also, when it does work, the delay is so bad, about 10 seconds or more and the two way audio does not work for us. there is no way i can trust this to monitor our baby ! awful.
