Dear Chicago Cubs and Cubs fans, Seiya has a big heart and so much love for the game. I'm sure he won't disappoint. He might face some challenges but please be patient, I guarantee he'll bounce back. Already miss him in Hiroshima, but we Carp fans love him like a son/brother and support his choice and his dream. Best of luck to Seiya and the.Cubs organization. Regards, Carp fan and new Cubs fan

@@David.560_- just like the original commenter said "I guarantee he'll bounce back", now all of his stats are back up and he has the same OPS as all star Ian Happ. Pretty good for his first 107 major league games + after a short spring training to be 20% above average

We lost the Big 3 last year, but the Gods gave us the Japanese Andre Dawson. I don't know if we can make the playoffs but I think we'll get darn close to it thanks to the young talent on the infield corners plus the pitching staff. And Suzuki playing up to expectations.

Don't you know that too many American, Dominican, Cuban or Venezuelan baseball players came to NPB who never ever speak Japanese, say they can JUST LIKE Seiya, still they well adjusted and respected not only their own teammates but also Japanese culture and fought for the victory, in other word Baseball is their mother tongue. Some are even treated as a team's legend of whom fans are proud to this day. I guess Seiya must have learnt a lot from their mind. Too early to judge his future I think, and I wish the best for Cubs fans!
