Why not one pitching coach has been fired or not one trade for a pitcher has been made is mind boggling

I think the rays have made a few trades for pitchers the problem is we have a lot of our pitchers injured and I have no idea what the pitching coach is doing to make all our pitchers hurt themselves

Because the 8million dollar man is the coach. Why he thinks Leiter Jr is the answer is beyond me. Leave Steele in for God's sake.

For all of the David Ross haters from last season, what do you think now? Ross got more out of these players than Counsell is getting. And at least Ross had a enough sense to bat the Cubs fastest player Nico Hoerner lead off. Hoerner scored 98 runs last season and had 43 steals. Counsell has him batting 6th. How asinine 👎

OK have to be happy about our starting pitching. Anyway, it seems whenever our starter has blanked the other team and we're nursing a one or two run lead into the 7th, our BP just can't share the vibe and blows it. Holding a slim lead is the highest calling for a bullpen pitcher! @#%^. That scenario should get them pumped, not get them like scared little puppies and unable to perform. At this point the only guys who seem to be competitive this season (who aren't injured) are Wesneski and our recent acquisition Tyson Miller. I'm pretty sure Smyly would have given up a run, but just one. Leiter Jr.' reputation exceeds his actual performance. I feel like if Cuas were still in the BP, Counsel would have gone to him. But I know I would have gone with Tyson Miller, and we would have won this game (unless Neris were to blow the save).

@@millypoo7713 I agree that his comment was stupid regarding Swanson, but how do you know the prospects wouldn't make the majors? Easy answer: You don't. What do think the team that won the series consists of? A continuous yield of prospects for (soo to be) expensive players. And they're always competitive, even at the highest level in the league.
