I haven't been able to visit Ohio Pyle last few years. Too old & disabled. 🙁 These videos are the next best thing. 😊 Southwestern PA is beautiful. I'm happy you are enjoying "the other side of the state". We have so much to offer hikers & others who just want to enjoy the scenery, fish & swim. 🥰

Was in that spot towards the end last summer, found a HUGE tooth along the water's edge. Fun to wonder what it belonged to! I also found a pot bowl....LOL!! What a funny day of discovery!

Yes, 'Cliffs' are at Cucumber Falls. LOL That was such breathtaking scenery. I am so glad you checked out this area. I am mad at myself, though. About 25 years ago, we went to that area to tour Fallingwater (famous home designed by American Architect, Frank Lloyd Wright) and we had no clue this beautiful scenery was in this area. I am so sorry we missed out on that incredible hike. I am very grateful that you did this great hike to Cucumber Falls. Really enjoyed this one, Cliff.

Glad to see you have made your way out to our neck of the woods. Have been following you from the very beginning. Western PA has so many beautiful spots. Wait to you head up to Northwestern PA. It is really wild in spots. You have too see the Cook Forest and Oil Creek. Allegheny National Forest and Presque Isle.

I'm in southwest PA, not far from Ohiopyle. There are often group trips sponsored to travel to Ohiopyle for rafting, etc. Although drivers in this part of PA surely wish the land was flat as in other parts of Pennsylvania, the beauty of the mountains and all the waterways created by the water running down from the mountains here is worth the inconvenience of driving through/around/over mountains and crossing bridges.

There is another falls on the river, Swallow Falls in Swallow Falls State Park in Md , Camped with family there in 1964 , If I remember right the tallest falls in Md. Not far from Deep Creek lake and the West Virginia St Line. There is a swamp near there too that have Artic plants.

This is actually one of my first hiking places...I live in eastern Ohio bout 3 +hr drive but my favorite place ,it Awesome out there love the falls still lots places i haven't yet been , I haven't been there since i started my own little channel ...Im a recent patreon ....Thanks for sharing
