I know this is probably an annoying question you heard about, a million times. I understand you have other amazing content (which I love) and don't just want to be known as that one channel that makes Cucumber Quest comic dubs, but if you have the spare time or running out of ideas, could you possibly keep going with this series? If you decline, then I completely understand, I just need to know if this is a one time thing or this is coming on the future P.S if you read this, then I thank you for looking at my long ass question, and Im so happy you care

Geez, I'm sorry it's such an inconvenience to make these videos, and I know it's probably got a lot to do with personal reasons and a sheer lack of time and resources. But quite frankly, this is one of THE BEST things I have ever watched on KZbin that didn't involve lets plays, vine compilations, or anything else as unoriginal and stale. And I would sincerely hate to see this great series of fan dubs be discontinued like his, so if you ever find yourself with the opportunity, or enthusiasm, to kickstart this again, please do.

Long - Harmony Alchemist Gaming Basically I take the original comic pages, chop them up in Photoshop and redraw them in separate layers, then I put them into Sony Vegas and move them around frame by frame.

After Effects is good for short projects, like 30 seconds-1 minute long. The big difference is that After Effects has to render EVERY time you want to see something. It makes it much much slower to use for something like this. It's also worse for working with audio. Vegas (and Premiere) are really nice for the type of pseudo-animation I do because you can easilly adjust things like opacity and timing with a slider. You need to punch numbers into After Effecs. After Effects is really good for typographic work though.

I understand there don't appear to be plans for future dubs of this comic from all indication, but for whatever it's worth I personally would love seeing this continue. Not only is this comic a wonderful read, this production is made up of sublime voice actors/actresses. They fit beautifully together in a way I don't often see, and it's a fond hope I hold that both comic and fan dub would continue in tandem, growing awareness and popularity together. ...Still. If such dreams will not be continuing past this chapter, all I can say is "Thank you very much for such a memorable, spectacular effort, and we wish you well in all your future endeavours."

Jello. Keep this up. I subscribed for the "Welcome to" (Which I imagine composes a lot of your subs) and this idea of Video Comics is fantastic. Comics being gifs is really being pursued right now on social mediums, but this is the first time I've seen it as a episode rather then a comic bit.
