Thaks for doing these collabs. Both of your hard work and info is so helpful because it covers the diversity in growing and the many needs. I realuze that having a large amount of tatics at hand and products, and application uses. I have a better tool box to pick from qhen i already have all the actual experience. Your data and input helps me to apply my specific needs and,experiment with more approaches. This is a lot of work for you all but so much fun to collab and discuss thibgs together. Thanks for the great tips! I have a powdery mildew problem in my garden and it affects cucumbers greatly. I found the milk spray works great for me and keeps it under control for the most part. I am going to have the best crop of cucumbers ever this year. Thanks for all your help!

You can emulsify your oils into water. Five minutes in a blender. My mixes have stay combined for weeks. Blend a Picher full then it easily mixes with a gallon or so of water.

I'm growing in a Greenstalk vertical garden because I recently moved and landlord does not allow me to "dig". I have an Armenian cucumber and a space master. No fruit yet. Only flowers. I'm waiting patiently.

Great video guys! I am really enjoying this East meets West gardening information. It's interesting to gain the understanding of differences in your style of gardening based on the environment where you live. My cucumbers are finally kicking into high gear. I've been watching my first cucumber grow daily and it amazes me how fast they grow. If you could sit still long enough I swear you'd see them evolve right before your eyes!

My cucumbers are flowering now. I have 3 in containers and one in a bed. This information is very helpful! I switch between Neem Oil & BT. BT works great for the worms.

Great timing! I literally harvested my first cucumbers ever, just minutes before catching this video. I have three different varieties in three different containers which are trellised on a chain link fence. They are spreading horizontally and filling in the space with a little hands-on guidance every couple of days. I'm in central Florida where its not easy to grow during our intense heat, but I am amazed at how healthy and prolific they are. I'm about to be overloaded with cucumbers and I love it! Time to invest in some masonry jars and start pickling. Great vid as always you guys, keep it up!

Brett Aker Make sure not to skimp on jars because most cheap jars will break while being canned. Trying to save when it comes to jars is a waste of money in the long run. I reccomend Ball or any jars made by ball

We get vine borers like crazy here in Florida. Dead bug dust, say that 10 times fast lol.. I'll have to get some.. The rain and humidity has been tough here lately. Its thunderstorming everyday and my garden is starting to flood so I won't be planting too much until we move into our new house. I can't wait to start setting up the landscape.

@@CaliKim29 Hey. I need to start again. Buga buga buga..............just put me seed tray in the mini five shelf green house I put together last night. Went out this morn to unzip n tie the rolled flap up. Beautiful start to the day with the sun shinning warm. Checked the tray for moisture, which it had and thought to myself 'I have to anchor this unit down to stop it from blowing over in the wind', went inside n got sidetracked. Buga buga buga.....lo n behold within 15 minutes the wind started blustering n blew my greenhouse away seedling tray n all. Have to start from scratch...buga buga buga. Located the hammer n prongs in readiness to anchor my baby down too..........buga buga buga.....it bugs me no end.

Hello Me and You - no particular reason, they just want to reproduce. If this happens and my plants are still small, I pinch off the small fruit so the plant can get larger. Fresh cukes are amazing, enjoy!

Hello, thanks for the video. I wonder if you have a solution for cucumber beetles. They start with the flowers, jump to the leaves and go down to the roots and in few days ,you forget that you planted cucumbers. I tried soap it did not work very well. I was crushing them with my fingers. I have a great season however. Thanks a lot

Thanks for the tips...I’m having a problem with some of my cucumbers turning yellow and then dying but others are growing just fine can’t figure out what the problem is? I have not seen bugs either? And what is it when the vines seem to be splitting I have not seen worms or vine bores?

Raelene MJ This simply means the fruit aren’t being pollinated! Make sure to check for ants that might be stealing pollen or plant more bee friendly plants near them. If you have herbs you can let them flower to attract tons of pollinators. You can also try hand pollination and see what works!

Well we had very sad experience with BT. Sprayed 4 cucumber plants at 7 am by 3 pm leaves were scorched... Probably little cucumbers are gone too... Drama for sure.

CJ, here's a link to a video that explains it in detail, bit.ly/CaliKimOrganicPestControl. In this video I used dawn dish soap, but I've since changed to a natural soap, (any kind will do, readily available at Target, Walmart or online). Always do a test spray of a few leaves first, wait a few days, and adjust the oil and soap if there is damage to the leaves.
