I make a red sweetheart pickles using the big cucumbers like that. You use red hot candy in the recipes.

Great video Amanda. I do remember when I was a kid, and my Step Dad would tell me that I had to pick the cucumbers every day once they were ready, or they would quit producing. I hope that you all have enough to make pickles. God Bless Y'all.

They're not always bitter when they are that big. You should taste them first before discarding. Then if they are bitter maybe compost them. Just speaking from previous experiences. I just found your channel. I might subscribe after I watch a few more videos.😆

We currently have enough relish canned for 3 years so we don’t want more at the moment. 😉

You need pigs or chickens so you can feed them all of that leftover plants and food. Edible acres on KZbin has an awesome chicken compost system that makes literally tons of compost. And I have seen some awesome chicken tilled/cleared/fertilized garden plots

It was in my shirt! LOL I just had thrown that over to pick okra minutes before. If I don’t cover up okra makes me itch all day! My hair is still longer than ever! 😊

@Sadie Jackson I was just about to post the very same thing! That was the very 1st thing I noticed when the video started...SHE CUT HER LONG, BEAUTIFUL HAIR!! Glad to read her comment below to see she had just tucked it in her shirt.

@@DeepSouthBamaGRITS Isn't it funny what we notice. I wasn't paying attention to the cucumbers, I kept thinking "I can't believe she cut her hair".
