The sheep block was one of my main reasons to make this quilt. I was amazed at how easily it went together. My fun Friday was sewing it up! I have so much enjoyed this sew along!

Being such a newbie-dork, I smiled (but stopped at clapping my hands!) when I thought, I'll bet that parts is made with HST, AND THEY WERE! :D Thank you for your videos. They aren't just "useful", they bring joy :)

It's so satisfying when it works how we think it should, isn't it! I remember in my early quilt making days, sometimes the way I thought things should work out just didn't! =)

I am pleased that you offered this tutorial on Wooly Sheep! I have the wall hanging pattern that I plan to make at a December retreat (although I am a churn dash aficionado and will probably substitute churn dash for Ohio star). Thanks so much. Oh, and I did buy Starberry fabric for my Wooly Sheep wall hanging. It will be so very cool.

This adorable sheep block is my absolute favorite. I’ve had so much fun making the blocks for this quilt. I did get a bit carried away, and didn’t want to stop, so kept going. I’m dropping off my quilt at my quilter tomorrow. YAY!

Woo-hoo almost finished. I have really enjoyed sewing along. And yes sometimes I have to rip out, but surprisingly not very often. Mine is coming together nicely

I'm inspired to get out my pretty Wooly Stars Sheep Hoodie since the weather here in the Northeast is in the 60's. Can't wait to make the matching block! Thanks for another enjoyable video.

I made this quilt using 9 different Grunge pastels for the stars, to remind me of May in Scotland and all those lovely marked sheep.
@SewWhittleАй бұрын
I assume this is the exact same way to piece together for the actual Wooly quilt, correct? I will be making that very soon. Thanks again for your detailed instructions.
@CorianderQuiltsАй бұрын
It's not exactly the same as the original Wooly Stars pattern.

I love this block....My family and I love sheep my grandfather was a sheep herder when he came to America from Spain. Is there a way to make this and not put in the Ohio Star?
@CorianderQuiltsАй бұрын
Of course, you would want to replace the Ohio Star with a solid piece of fabric. I, personally, would also eliminate some of the extra seams you wouldn't need if opting to skip that portion of the piecing.
