This rescue boxer spends his days watching a squirrel pack at the park. When Erin found Martha at the rescue shelter, she lied down in Erin's lap right off the bat. They were all shocked as Martha was not one who liked people. She had a lot of aggressive tendencies because of her rough past. However, when Martha went to the park, something amazing happened. She gravitated to a tree filled with squirrels and became their best friend. They have made her a calmer dog and she can’t get enough of hem

I absolutely LOVE Martha, and I don't even know her!! She made me and my heart feel so warm and good, and I didn't even think i could smile now!!!! I don't even want to think about why she has the scar down her back or what happened to Martha, but I am POSITIVE the WONDERFUL ppl Martha adopted will make she's living the life she's supposed to be living and should have been living all along!! I feel so sorry for Martha. That scar on her back is just awful. I can't imagine the abuse poor Martha endured. Animals deserve so much better than that. I hate people who are mean to our creatures!

Dogs who get adopted/rescued often have visible physical scars and emotional ones as well. And it breaks my heart! 4 outta 5 of my dogs were rescues. All of them needed space n patience on my part. All of them came to trust and were amazing pets! Martha obviously had a hard history but now she has an amazing future!

Absolutely freaking adorable! She is the cutest dog. I also used to have a pet squirrel named emmit with a little chihuahua that i grew up with named tessy.
