I love donkeys. It's always great to see donkey owners who recognize how important it is to give their donkeys a herd. Even if it's just two donkeys, no donkey should be kept alone. They're herd animals & NEED to be with their own species. Giving them a companion animal like a horse, dog or goat isn't the same as giving them another donkey.

What a sweet story, they are sooo precious! I'm really glad you found Booberry for Chocula; such a bonded, loving pair. In fact, I've never seen two donkeys as bonded as they are 🥰. I burst out laughing when I saw your goat with the hay hat at 0:48 LOL!!!!! I have two goats but their hay hats aren't as chic as your goats. 😂😍. I just love donkeys, they are so loving, fun, full of character and they really do adore their humans. I had 3 donkeys that were rescues (Marvin, Hugo and Ralph) I absolutely fell in love with them and was originally just supposed to be a foster for them but ended up adopting all 3. I miss them terrible even now. All 3 would come running to the gate when they saw or heard me, they would also stand in a circle around me, leaning their heads on me with their eyes shut, if I laid down in the paddock they would lay with me. It really was a magical 14 years I had with them. They are amazing animals and so intelligent. Seeing these two melts my heart ❤❤🐴

I had a Shetland-Welsh pony as a kid. The winter coat on that sleek, fat pony was a thing from the ice age! Just like Booberry! He could walk thru the barbed wire fence and not even feel it. We always found him under the apple tree no matter the season. He was also a goof, stealing the tools out of the wheelbarrow or Dad's pipe out of his back pocket. He'd turn to see Joe with the pipe in his mouth like he was ready to smoke it. He loved our cherry orchard's treats! He'd spit out stems and pits. Stubborn little cuss! He was an adventure, my little Joe. Fifty six years later I'm needing another surgery on the knee he landed on when he fell in wet, slippery grass. I got more beat up by that pony than any other factor in my childhood. I still loved him.

That’s exactly how my two cats were when we adopted them. They always have to know where their brother is and if they don’t know, will walk room to room meowing and looking for their brother! I’m just around for food, water and keeping the litter box clean! Sometimes I am allowed to pet them and might get a purr or head nudge.
