I lived 23 years in Spain (Canary Islands). The Spaniards have a long history in making knives and folders. My favortite knife is exactly the one you show. The Cudeman folks are really nice and they will laser engrave whatever you wish (I have my name and motto). Spanish knives are not covered in American cuttlery media - which I believe is a pity. Cudeman, Nieto, Muela, Joker... there are a lot of good spanish cuttillery brands that offers an incredible good quality products. Spain has a thousand years of history with steel, forging and handcrafting the best quality swords and knifes in Europe. I mean.. I love My KA-BAR BK2 but most of the time I prefer to pick my Cudeman Entresierras (MOVA STEEL) or my Nieto Chaman Macro (BOHLER N690 Co) and there's a reason for that.

Beautiful knife. N695 is Bohler's version of 440C, 440C just went way up in our likability scale.

Can't remember exactly but I think my Viper Odino has Bohler N690. I've had very good experience with it, in my option better then the 440c. But, this is my first experience with N695.. Can't wait to use it and see.

Yep, it's an "improved" 440C stainless. You can check out the data sheet for the steel and study the exact composition of the material on Böhler's website.

That is realy a very beautiful knife. I like the exposed tang at the end. Did you know that this knife was developed from the mambers of the spanish forum of bushcraft and survival? The mesurements of the blade are based on the knife laws of most European countries. I have one wih cocbolo and one with white mikarta and red liners. The heat treatment of the bohler N695 is much better as on most 440C steels. Therefore it holds an edge better than 440C.

Spain is well know for quality knives for centurys specially the ones made in the city of "Albacete" if you read about this city youll see how close this city is to knives and blades. And in leather Spain make most of leather pieces for all europe including luxury brands like loewe, prada, etc most done in a very small city named "Ubrique"

Fallkniven is overrated, just like with BMW you pay the extra only for a badge. PS: the most asskicking knives for the price are morakniv. Outstanding quality and perfectly heat treated and sharpened blades!

I like my Silver Stag fixed blade..When I go hunting or in the thick woods I carry it everyday..Check them out..lifetime warranty they will even polish it and resharpen it for the guys that don't know how...My favorite is the one with the gut hook for deer hunting..."By the way they are good luck because since I bought it I get a deer every time I wear it in the woods"..lol Nice knife man,take care...

The reason why we use metric system in europe is because the imperial system is a pain in the ass. Imagine we are talking about virtual storage capacity: You know 1000 bits is 1mb... 1000mb is one tera and so on. Easy right? Now imagine 1567 bits are 1 mega and 20 mega is 1 tera... you catch the point? Pounds, ounces, inches, feet, yard, miles.... ANNOYING. PS: Your voice it's so strong and deep that it felt like watching a review made by Luciano Pavarotti. PS n2: N695 (440c) is indeed a very good steel. People no longer give it credit because of all the new super steels, but back in the 80's 440c was the best. Greetings from Spain.

To be honest... Never heard of Mova before researching this knife. The Bohler I've handled before and seems to be of high quality. Either way, I don't think you'll notice much of a difference. Great knife!

491gee mova is molybdenum and vanadium 440 c very used in knives, the bohler is a little bit stronger, but little bit harder to sharp too, I personally prefer mova don't need so much toughness in my knive. 👍
