Thanks for review guys. Just bought this knife today from the store in Brisbane. Was given excellent advise for my needs and this was recommended. Had never heard of it before but just fell in love with how it felt in my hand! So nice! I can't wait to try it out! Great review guys

Haha! I picked one of these up from Knives Australia today before seeing this review. I bought it based on the steel and thickness (and the sheath), and after watching a heap of DBK reviews of other knives. I think it'll serve me well. Time will tell I guess. Oh, and after I got home, I decided to search for reviews and found you blokes. Subbed now. Oh, and I met Mark today too. Nice bloke. Thanks fellas.

Just a thought. That hole in the blade can also be used to stabilise at the top of a friction fire stick and bow.

Surprisingly, there was no batoning on the knife with a 5 kilo lump of timber.
