So glad I stumbled across this. I just bought the Cuisinart 22" griddle from a nice old couple in the next town for $50!!! Its nice to see good content for the griddle.

Is there a trick or best way to ignite grill. Mine sorta ignited and burst flame out. I’m incredibly careful and doing things in an amer this should not happen. Also - what exactly did you do to potatoes b4!you placed on grill? Thx so much!!!

Hey chef looking to buy this griddle. Since there is a Blackstone craze how would you compare the two? Great recipe!

Len James I’ve only used a Blackstone a few times. This is different due to the shape and I feel like the heat distribution is more even. Most rectangle flattops I’ve used, including in professional kitchens, have lots of hot/cold spots.
