It's probably yes in this case because I don't see why a game like this would have something that prevents it from being used, but games like Ring Fit Adventure probably won't work out of the box for a new Switch 2 owner. Switch 2 JoyCon appear to lack functionality the JoyCon have and games like that need. Technically since they connect with Bluetooth, if you have the old Joycon, most likely then it will work, but that is something that is currently unclarified. We only know that they said some of the games won't work. What and why is unknown for certain.
