We were there in the winter.

Winter is the best time to visit Puerto Rico, temperatures are a bit cooler and the weather is way nicer (Puerto Rico has monsoon weather so winter is the dry season). Also there are less crowds on beaches and rivers.

From what I understand, there are no animals that can really harm you. I think the most dangerous animal there is the mosquito.

Mosquito spray…. That’s the official eau de cologne smell for after sunset! They are big and hungry😂

I'd say that the best spot for snorkeling was Tamarindo Beach, where I filmed the turtles.
