Hello Culips, my name is Everton and I am brasilian. I train my listening everyday and it already improved so much, but I have a problem: I can identify almost all the words that are spoken, but I can't join them and to understand what is being spoken. What the solution that you all have for this?? Since now thank you so much!!!

Great question Emerson! This happens to me sometimes too when I study Korean (my second language). I don't have a perfect answer for you, but this is what I usually do: 1. Dissect the sentence and identify the parts of speech. Figure out which words are nouns, adverbs, adjectives, prepositions, etc. and try to determine their role in the sentence. This can sometimes help the meaning become clear. 2. Use Google translate. Sometimes seeing the sentence translated into your own language can make something click. 3. Double check that you know all the vocabulary. Are you sure you know the meaning of all the words? Are there any words that might have multiple meanings? Double check with the dictionary. 4. Ask a native speaker. If I'm really stuck, I'll ask a native speaker for help. It might be obvious, but listening to LOTS of English will help you become more familiar with English sentence and grammar patterns. The more you listen, the more comfortable you'll feel. Hope that helps! - Andrew
