I agree that the Cult Leader is mechanically solid and interesting, but it's experientially deadly. I think it might work better as a Traveller, then at least you don't get multiple cult attempts every day.

IF Huntsman was edited to "Each night (or Each Night*), choose a player, if they are the Damsel, they become an out of play Townsfolk" It would be a TON more fun and feel like a Townsfolk.

I dont really get how damsel works? Can't you make evryone guess one person is the damsel to remove the guessing chance minions have? Then the damsel can reveal himself/herself to get chosen by the huntsman, i know that makes it so minions dont accidentaly choose someone that isnt damsel but i think its so worth it. If the damsel gets killed at night its not even that bad since you are making an outsider get killed. I know that fang gu exists but if there is no fang gu then its definitely a viable strategy and damsel can be killed when there is no huntsman which is litteraly someone without an ability dying. If huntsman chooses the damsel you are learning one not in play character and confirming that the huntsman is good, since its not affected by poison i think that its much better than confirming to be a townsfolk and giving fake info.

The general consensus is that if the places are forced to do anything by the players it doesn't count towards that thing. Making every player come out and say I'm the mutant, say they are cerenovus mad, pixie, etc doesn't count. In this case forcing evil to say they are picking a player as damsel they clearly don't believe is damsel wouldn't trigger it either.

well for the farmer. change it from storyteller picks the next farmer to farmer picks the next farmer. So that gives a little bit of agency and he works in that case similar to a moonchild without killing someone else

But what if he chooses evil?

Or picks a player that doesn't want to be turned. At least the ST is doing it for the balance of the game.

@@OffMetaPlays Well picking a player that doenst want to be turned can also happen to a ST pick. You can try to meta the ST then based on how important you believe your whyyou were choosen and not someone else. The fact that you just became without any use other than to be killed at night still stands. If I draw the farmer it is like a blank I know my only job is to die at night. I cannot do anything else. I will be running against any Ravenkeeper in trying to look jiucy enough for a deamon kill. In comparison any Golem has more agency of his powers than a farmer.
