Now he's 67 and he's tired, annoyed, beat up and wants to go home. I also might think he's EMBARRASSED to be involved in Curse, Cult, Bride and Seed. But then again I'm not Brad and I'm not as nice as him.

It’s too bad that an actor can’t be themselves on camera, talking about their 30-year job with a better attitude than most people would after that long, and he has good insight and commentary, but he’s mellow and not high-energy, not trying to grab everybody’s attention by the lapels, and isn’t dyeing his hair at the moment, and a lot of people,e think that means he’s ‘burned out’ or something, and that’s such bullshit. He seems like an intelligent man in good physical shape and has a good life and is a good parent. He’s more of a success than probably anybody here saying he looks tired or whatever. He always looks like that. His intense appearance helped get him into stuff like Lord of the Rings.

I've been a fan of Brad Dourif for years. He always leaves a lasting impression, even when the writing is a little lacking. He seems very thoughtful, puts a great deal into realizing his characters. There is always so much depth of feeling in all his performances. I am still so intrigued by him.

I can't believe Fiona didn't immediately get what Brad was saying about the actor disappearing. She does it well in her roles most of the time. You completely immerse yourself and become the actual character. Just like Heath Ledger did as the Joker. That was no longer Heath, it was the complete persona of Joker.
