They definitely waited to strap up Hendry because WWE was gonna want him for the Royal Rumble and they wanted him to have the TNA strap if he was gonna make that big of an appearance, if they had strapped him during the summer than it would have meant he would have to carry it all the way to the Rumble, or lose it and get it back and hope that either of those processes doesn't dull his shine at all.

I know TNA have got better ticket sales due to the colab, so they are obviously reaping the benefits from the partnership. But long term, I can't help but think this is just a way for WWE to take the best talents from TNA (Grace, Henry etc) and send some random lower card NXT wrestlers in return for appearances. As I Brit, I saw what they did to the UK indie seen when they set up NXT UK. I just hope TNA get more from it than a few random NXT appearances in the deal.

It will only get weirder! It's only a matter of time before TNA get a TV deal now! WWE will then cross promote with them and no doubt throw them a few legends and current stars to boost their debut episode!
