As somebody who was at Elimination Chamber 2017, everybody in the building left that show happy and joyful, which honestly seems to feel like a rarity for most PPVs nowadays. I still have vivid memories of an arena full of people happily singing "He's Got the Whole World in His Hands" as we all made our way out.

This was the year Jinder Mahal held the WWE Championship and Brock Lesnar held the Universal Championship. The prestige of those titles defiantly went down because of it.

thenoose 2k The Universal title didn’t lose any prestige because Brock Lesnar a bonafide main event star was holding it. It lost prestige because of the terrible booking and because he defended it 4 times a year and that was garbage. That’s what made the title go down.

RR was a 1-2 match show, Mania was meh, a botched cash in, a dude winning the women’s MITB match, Jinder’s reign, and even more. Most of 2017 was ass. The MVP’s of 2017 were AJ, Braun, and surprisingly Brock.

The list is pretty accurate. Except for number 1. I did not like Wrestlemania 33, only 3 good matches on the entire card does not a number 1 make for me. Although wasn't this the PPV Cultaholic attended (although I think they were still with WC at the time)? If that the case that's totally understandable. Watching it live with that atmosphere is always a joy, but watching from home the show was very below average. By no means an awful maina but one that I can easily forget.
