What I still remember from the Canadian Stampede show is the pre-match promos from Team USA. When Road Warrior Hawk was cutting his promo you could see Steve Austin look visibly irritated and just walk out. That to me proved that the 80s/early 90s era of shouting and screaming promos was over and a new era had truly begun.

I have to say, Canadian Stampede very rightfully deserves this #1 posititon, the match between the entire Hart Foundation stable vs. Team America with the heels being cheered by the pro-Canadian crowd is one of the best main events ever in WWF history, as its so packed full of hot action and bumps, its almost too hard to keep up with it. When the Harts dragged Owen back to their corner and helped him nurse his injured leg, they played that angle so perfectly dramatic, it almost felt like they were fighting a legit war, and Bret Hart was the general of the Canadian army!

That match was awesome and I called a bar that was only a few subway stops away and had some wings and beers and it was great. However that match I refer to was Holly versus Al Snow and one of my favorite matches of all time. This also pinned the peak of the WWE which was late 1998 and early 1999. The end came after the handicap ladder match at KOTR

No Way Out of Texas also kinda screwed up by having Thrasher blade at the very start of the PPV. The cameraman got the entire thing, very blatant what he's doing. Afterwards, there's a giant red stain on the canvas the entire night. Also, the Nation match was called a War of Atrition, and the announcers never fully knew what that was supposed to be.
