Unpopular opinion but, Nakamura vs Styles for me. Was it as good as their previous matches in Japan? Certainly not. Is it a bad match? I really don't think so. I just think it was more to do with the crowd being tired after 5 hours worth of wrestling at that point.

In regards to the Punk/Jericho match, the thing that hampered it was that literal last minute stip addition of Punk losing the title on a DQ. Once they stopped trying to incorporate that in the second half of the match it really picked up. That stipulation rarely ever adds anything to matches.

I always wondered if Jericho knocked Punk loopy with the missile drop kick from the middle rope early on. Always thought that looked stiff. Agreed Re: the DQ stip, and they really should retire that stip. I’ve never seen it executed well in WWE but they do it a lot.

The main thing I remember from the Undertaker vs. Triple H match at WM17 is that our live feed cut out immediately after Hunter countered the Last Ride with a sledgehammer to the face. What followed was a frantic 6-7min wait before we were back in business, during which time the match could have been over and the streak broken without us getting to see it.

The exact same thing happened to me TWICE for Taker and HHH matches at Wrestlemania. I was at home watching the W17 match when a storm knocked our cable out. Then, for the End of an Era match, I actually went to a movie theatre that was showing Mania and - again - a storm knocked out the feed right after HBK hit the superkick on Taker. I seriously thought I was going to be in the middle of a riot that night. (Eventually we got W17 back up and running at home. Unfortunately, everyone in the theatre that night was sent home with refunds and free passes.)

I'd had a long day and was getting tired during Taker v Lesnar. Was drifting into a nap most of the match, but when Lesnar picked Taker up for the final F5, i suddenly jolted fully awake. And i still expected Taker to kick out.

At the wrong time, before the referee could try to attempt a three count the stream has stopped suddenly and it took a minute or so to show back up again. I saw the crowd was shocked, wondering what happened and it turns out the streak got broken. That was the first and only time where the stream stopped at the wrong time for me.

Honorable mention: Orton vs Punk at WM27. I was there in the crowd for this one, and over the years I’ve heard a lot of praise for it. However, to me it was nothing special, and the finish was an unimaginative carbon copy of something they did on the go home Smackdown. IMO, Mysterio vs Cody was the second best match on the whole show after Taker vs HHH.

Glad XII's Ironman match was included - I did think it was a classic the first time I saw it, but didn't rewatch in full until years later, and when you know the result and there are no decisions for 60 minutes, DAMN is it a slog to watch. Also Hogan/Warrior at Vi was more about the 'spectacle' than the actual match. I still enjoy it, but some of the 'moments' are ridiculous, like when they do the ref bump and the two should-be-3-counts - Warrior goes head-first into the mat, fine, but then "the Immortal" Hulk Hogan is just rolled up and lays completely still for what seems like forever, even though it's not that long. It's like this guy you've built for years would have been pinned from a basic roll-up, REALLY??! Lol.

The fact that you involved the wrestlemania 23 Shawn Michaels vs John cena main event on this list says a lot about your knowledge of an instant classic mania main event. That match was one of the greatest spectacles of mania main events performed and truly put John cena on the map for 10+ years to come. Just my opinion though.

Hogan v Warrior is never going to be a classic wrestling match. It was however the most epic thing these eyes had ever seen. Watching Warrior kick out of the leg drop then hit the splash to win was insane. Yes I would agree that trying to watch it today would be ehhhh but then in that world it was the most amazing WM match ever.

Savage/Hogan at Mania V was a beautiful match (until Hogan kicked out of the elbow) with excellent psychology. Everyone knew who was going over but Savage extracted as much out of the match & out of Hogan as was humanly possible. It was a master class from the Macho Man.

I love you guys, but just hell no to so much of this list. Cena vs HBK and Rock II are honestly both seriously UNDER-rated, honestly. Hardly anyone talks about the 23 match and almost everyone I see bashes the 29 match. Cena vs HHH as well hardly ever gets mentioned in terms of best Mania matches. I’ll also gladly praise Bret vs HBK, and call it my favourite WrestleMania match of all-time. Nothing short of a beautiful, technical masterclass. Was super annoyed throughout watching this video.

Definitely think Undertaker vs Batista should've been the main event by virtue of 'Taker winning the Rumble and (IMO) was the better of the two world title matches. But Cena vs HBK was arguably the second best match (the other being the MitB match). Though their Raw match that year was better, Cena vs HBK at WM 23 was still a great match

Surely hogan vs Andre at mania 3 should be number 1 this list. Yes it’s a momentous occasion, and I remember watching it as a kid, but it’s actually an awful match, and the big part of the match of hogan lifting Andre shouldn’t be talked about as much as it is. I agree about everything except the last two especially Michaels vs Cena. The match until the ref bump was boring - after that it peaked amazingly. I watched this and their raw rematch soon ago apart with some months from one another between them so they are fresh in my mind - the raw match was better but the finishing stretch of the wm match was much hotter. Watch them if you don't believe me. So just for the last 10 minutes of their first clash makes it that's good.

I Enjoyed Punk vs Jericho a lot to short but a great match in my opinion Triple H vs Undertaker Hell In A Cell match I thought it was not as good as many say it was And Undertaker Vs HBK Again I do not find either as good as many say An amazing story both times but I would take Angle vs Either man if it be WM21 Vs HBK Or No Way Out 2006 Both great matches
