I'm so happy for Kylie, she's been through a lot and deserves so much love. Hope it leads to big things for her. Also, and I don't know if this is the right time to mention it, but let's not forget that Chris Jericho was never fully investigated over the allegations against him about what he allegedly did to Kylie despite there being something to that story. I'm not letting that go, that's where I started hating Jericho.

Pretty sure we've heard the whole story. Jericho invited her to his room. She thought it was a "party" where others would be there, but she showed up & Jericho was alone. He made a pass at her. She said no. It made her very uncomfortable, considering Jericho is a very big deal in AEW, so she left the company.

@@petesmart1983 I'm actually glad you bought this up because it shows a wider problem in wrestling that still persists even after Speaking Out. People come forward with stories of wrongdoings that have some truth to them, they aren't looked into far enough, the accused simply says "I didn't do it" and people just immediately believe them with nothing to back it up and eventually people just forget about it when they shouldn't. Happened when stuff came out against Jericho, Lethal, Riddle and others. It's so frustrating and upsetting that it keeps happening.

TBH I think the WWE ID will be similar to NXT UK. Kill off the emerging promotions by locking the more promising talents. The 2010s UK indie scene died and only a few select wrestlers are still signed and now linger in the lower mid card. Gunther is the only one that came out smeling sweet i think. Only few did not sign and joined Japan Promotion. Ospreay, ZSJ do not have any regrets on their decision i think.

The interesting thing about the ID program is that all (or at least most of) the affiliated promotions are owned by WWE wrestlers. I would *hope* that WWE wouldn’t ruin their own talent’s outside endeavors, right?

But NXT UK and WWE ID isnt the same thing at all is it? NXT UK was a development brand where people was signed to, WWE ID seems like just indie wrestlers that WWE follow closer and have first choice on if they get other contract offers or WWE decide they want them?

I'm guessing the first view of the terms will seem innocent enough. But later there will be clauses and fine prints limiting indie shows you can go to. (AEW for sure banned 😂) Don't forget all wrestling promotions contract you as independent contractors but they control all aspects like you are their employee.

Kylie Rae obviously has a lot of experience and could go straight to TV, but she also just gave birth to her first kid a year ago so I can understand why they landed on an ID deal instead of a full-time contract.

It means she's technically under WWE contract, but they don't have concrete creative plans, so she gets to work indies until WWE figures out what they want to do.

I love Kylie Rae she really fit in nxt style of wrestling. Yes she had some mental health problems(including the usual sex pests in wrestling who dont get investigated jeri,lethal who made 3 other females quit with his sex pesting)but seems to come through it, so really good on her, hopefully wwe has safeguards now Vince has gone
