I’ve mentioned this but i want Shane to come into AEW, not as a wrestler, but as the Buck’s “injection of poison” as a tongue in cheek meme authority figure. I'd imagine that IF Shane went to AEW, it would probably be more related to disassociating his name from the WWE brand and how his father kind of tainted things. As Stephanie has said, she abhors what her father allegedly did, but we haven't really heard from Shane. Remember, Shane has had issues with his dad forever, so it may be the biggest middle finger to his dad to just show up on another promotion.

Honestly if Shane goes to AEW then its probably the beginning of the end. Poor booking aside. This company has shot themselevs in the foot to much to even the fans with the most good will towards it. What was once a legitimate alternative has dwindled and frankly been surpassed in better products over in Japan at TNA and also Smackdown and Raw as well. Nxt i cant comment on as i don't watch it. Coming from a person that really wanted AEW to work out the booking is going to need to change if they ever have a hope to get back to the levels they were once at. At this point I doubt it though.
