I have seen this movie before in black and white. Seeing it in color adds a whole new dimension to this movie. The colors are soft not gaudy and that adds to the realism of the movie. Very well done!

I saw this film on KZbin movie channels several times. I get a laugh when a giant bat on wire lets out a scream when it attacks people sporting an after shave lotion it takes offense to. Bela Lugosi had the reputation of being a fine actor, but poor Bela was type cast playing a mad scientist for the rest of his career until his death in 1956.

Let's just say he's batty, too. 🦇Still at the height of his powers in glorious near-technicolour. 🌈Gotta try that vamp after-shave lotion, better than Old Spice or English Leather. Maybe equal to Brut. A lady-killer for sure. Horror flick to die-for. ☠ There, I used up all the hackneyed cliches I know. Except: Must see TV!

Heard Bela say that dracula made him famous but got him typecast and it bothered him as he started his career as a stage actor playing different roles in classic plays and felt his talent was wasted in monster movie's but he had to pay the bills
