Agarwood is a resinous wood from Asia that can be used as incense or distilled for its oil (oud) with is a highly prized perfume. Cultivated Agarwood carries a lower price tag and lower scent compared to wild agarwood. This video will show you how to tell if a wood is cultivated or not. You can buy the Agarwood feature in this video from our online store theteaguru.co.uk/product-cate...

Hello, I know this video was posted 3 years ago but, I have a 30inch by 12inch agarwood that my father got in Vietnam or there abouts we had in the family it has a very nice smell, we never burnt it or used it as incense, but my dad posted with a pedestal and as an art object. I wanted to share with you pictures of it, He bought it in 1950s prior to Vietnam war. I watch many of your videos and English speaker. Wanted to get your take on it.

@@GreenTeaGuru if agarwood was found under water then will agarwood lost its fragrance? Without its fragrance or aroma is it still useful?
@GreenTeaGuru
@GreenTeaGuru 4 жыл бұрын
It’s not usually found underwater. If it was I’m sure the wood will rot away leaving only the resin. If you put Agarwood in water it’s not really a problem because the oil and resin will not be effected

I wouldn’t dare buy agarwood off of amazon/eBay. However if one were to, what grade do you think the majority are? I’ve seen on amazon going for over 100$!
