The best leaders know there’s a time to encourage and a time to challenge themselves and their team. Dr. Josh Axe shares practical tools and phrases for encouraging and challenging-and shares his top health and lifestyle adjustments you can make today.
One way to consistently make wise decisions is to make as many of them as possible ahead of time. I’ve used this strategy to improve my weekly calendar, my study habits, and even how and when I exercise.
There’s an entire framework behind how I do it, and you can find it in my latest book, Think Ahead. You can get your copy here: go2.lc/YTTA
Learn even more about how the brain works and tools for winning the war in your mind with Craig’s book, Winning the War in Your Mind: Change Your Thinking, Change Your Life. And, you can apply what you read with the new companion workbook.

I want to think this, not that. Also, Dr. Axe I must say I felt you were totally unrelatable and I could never do anything you've done before this. I was even a little nervous to listen today because I learned of you through Dr. Jockers. Your transparency here really did something for my mindset. Truly appreciated.

Thank you

I want to think this, not that. This was incredibly helpful and refreshing. I don’t know if I’ve ever resonated more with any of your podcasts. Between this and your “pre-decide” series my life has changed for the greater good. I continue to share and am more grateful than I’ll ever be able to express. Thank you Pastor Craig for all that you sacrifice! Thank you Dr. Axe for your enlightening story! May God continue to bless you both abundantly.🙏🏼 -Forever grateful.

Thank you for this valuable conversation. As a person with countless life goals, i am regularly conflicted with how my contribution makes an impact in the world. I have recently learned that impact starts with my immediate and most important relationships; God, myself, my husband, and children. I am working to be a better person everyday (which is the most challenging work i have experienced). I feel like i am on the right track as it is flowing onto others I enfluence.

I appreciate so many of these podcasts, and I watch LifeChurch services most weekends, too. Thank you Craig Groeschel for your investment in lives for Jesus' sake. One thing I would have appreciated from your interview would have been to unpack more of Dr. Axe's recent yearlong experience of not being able to really walk. Especially as he encourages certain things to do to live healthier lives, it was a reminder to me that no matter what we do with diet and exercise, there is no guarantee of health and wellness for anyone in a broken world. Thanks again and God bless!

I want this not that! I listened to the May 2, 2025 Apple podcast… I am excited to make these changes. I have been diagnosed with RA and Ankylosing Spondylitis and had been on Plaquenil for almost 18 years. Well, 2 years ago I felt like the medication was effecting my nervous system. So I changed my eating habits and continued teaching warm water aquatic activities for arthritis members at the local YMCA. I am so much better now, but listening to this pod cast, I realized there is more I can do. If there are others that need you to send this book to them, then pass me up… because I will read it or listen to it. Thank you for your ministry! ❤🙌🏻🙏
