The bridegroom God? What about saying the bridegroom Jesus Christ? Never once in this entire message did we hear him mention the name of Jesus Christ.

He did right at the beginning but I agree, the bridegroom is always Christ in the Bible. There’s a bridegroom Son of God, no bridegroom Father. Also he always talks about intimacy with the bridegroom as an individual believer, when it’s the whole Body that’s the bride. All the Song of Solomon stuff he does is very weird if you’re a male believer. And wrong for women, too, since Jesus is not their lover in a romantic sense. And he totally misreads the parable of the virgins, which is the basis of all of his stuff. The foolish ones end up outside a LOCKED door with the bridegroom saying go away I DONT know you. No way are they any sort of believer. This is NOT about fervent vs. “ordinary” believers. (We’re all ordinary). It HAS to be about believers who have persevered in the Spirit (the oil) vs those who tired of waiting for the 2nd coming and have fallen back into the flesh when He comes at the unexpected hour - unbelievers. I DONT KNOW YOU. If that messes with the unbiblical doctrine of eternal security, this is just one of many passages that do so.
