We have grown some fantastic corn on a rocky farm that we rented, That tractor and cultivater is a wonderful machine, You can build a great wood fired outdoor pizza oven with those stones ,Thank you for the video, It's Great

That's a good idea for the stones, we just throw them in huge rock piles in the woods

That's the rockiest soil I've seen that was planted as row crop. I'm glad I don't have to farm it. That tractor is awesome! You made it look easy. Great job!

Yeah it’s very rocky around here, it’s hard work picking them

Rocky fields reminds me of the fields on our old farm, then came in a rock picking machine, That saved alot of hand picking stones and rocks. Every year be more stones and rocks coming up from china I use to say 😁😂 Your tractor is very nice!!!

@@notschfarm it looks a lot like our 1954 Super C

They changed the sheet metal a bit, bumped up the compression and rpms a tad to give them a few more HP, but other than that they’re basically identical to a Super C.

I did enjoy cultivating corn. When our neighbor quit farming in the 60s my Dad bought his C with cultivator so we wouldn’t have to put the cultivator on the H, which was somewhat of a miserable job. The C was fine when the corn was small but when the corn got bigger it didn’t have enough power or right gearing to go fast enough to throw the dirt to cover weeds in the row as we would turn the shovels to do this. We generally cultivated it 3 times.
@notschfarm3 жыл бұрын
We usually keep the cultivator on when we put it in the shed because it’s difficult to take on and off, we also cultivate three times

@notschfarm3 жыл бұрын
thanks, I’m not sure what planter my grandpa uses, I’ll have to get back to you on that. it’s international and wide rowed that’s what I all know about it
@notschfarm3 жыл бұрын
after looking, I believe it is an international 56 planter

I don't like that particular style of rolling fenders. We tried those at one time and they would collect trash better than most city garbage men. We used the other style kinda like scalloped disc blades.

There's only one row crop tractor in the country and it's the Farmall built by International Harvester. RED POWER THEN...RED POWER NOW!
