nice video. suggestion is, can you inform in video by adding notes, which organic pesticides can be used as alternative to chemical pesticides. Our farmers are killing themselvs, soil microorganisms, and customers by using chemical pesticides. they are costly too so not profitable for farmers. If Indian farmers grows their own pesticides like neem powder, gomutra etc, it will help a lot. Thank you. Waiting for your update of this video and similar info on all of your such videos.

I suspect you are an academic or social activist and not a farmer. We all wish rice could be grown organically. Do you think farmers want to spend much of their profits on pesticides and fungicides? Don't you think if they could simply grow their own organic pesticides like neem and it was as effective that they would do so? And don't you think consumers would all prefer not to have pesticides used on their food crops? The answer to all these are yes, but it isn't that simple. Most farmers- especially in third world countries are extremely poor and don't have the luxury of using their limited land to grow organic pesticides that cost more (when you include use of land and labor) and are far less effective and must be applied more often. Farmers are not stupid. If there was a way to grow organic and do it cheaper, they would know about it and would do it that way. But they know far better than you and other non-farming "experts" that the use of chemicals is the most economic way to get a good crop from limited resources. They hate working with poisons as much as you hate to see them do it. But they have no choice. So unless you can convince the government of these countries to subsidize non-chemical growing techniques, farmers are going to continue to use them so they can maximize their income. No one likes it, but its just the way it is. So please don't blame farmers or act like if they only knew about certain organic methods they would use them. They know about organic methods and materials, but also know that using them requires more land, more labor, and less yield. They just can't afford them because you wish they would.

@@thecityman1910 There is a growing market for organic foods as the population become sicker and are waking up to pig pharma corruption some farmers are going back to traditional methods. I am happy to spend 5 times the price for my food if I know it isn't sprayed with poison. Organic food equals living food and a living microbiome/healthy gut, a healthy gut helps your body breakdown and absorb the food to produce the building block for your body and keeps your immune system working at 100%. It might cost a lot more for organic but it is worth it in savings for health care/sick care.

🌾🇧🇩🌾Hi, I am speaking from Bangladesh. A new method of paddy production, I have discovered in 2023. With my new system, I can produce rice 15 tons of hybrid and non-hybrid rice in per hectare. But Bangladesh government rice scientists are not doing any research on my new technique of rice production and are not giving any approval for it. But thousands of thousans Rice farmers in Bangladesh are benefiting by cultivating paddy according to my new system of rice production. I am interested in working with you to increase rice production all over the world.

Why is it that we have to first plant in nursery.i think in Kerala it's directly sown in the field.correct me if wrong
@Chelsia-re4tb4 жыл бұрын
As Rice is a water intensive crop the farmers depend mostly on rain . If there is a delayed onset of monsoon they would go for delayed sowing and they would miss that season. So if we go for nursery we could cultivate in that season itself .

The presenter has done her work well. But this important video has been spoilt by the BACKGROUND MUSIC!. Sometimes it makes it very difficult to understand your presenter. Secondly, Whenever you describe a fertiliser or pesticide type or dose you should put that up as a text description on the screen. The same goes for when you are describing a process. Consider incorporating just 2 adverts/30 minute programme, (NOT MORE.. IT WILL BACKFIRE ON YOU IF YOU DO), to help to pay for better, professional grade video cameras. Anyway.. don't be "a follower of fashion" if you want to be an INNOVATOR ... and get rid of BACKGROUND MUSIC in instructional videos.
