My guy, "if you guys like it". I think i speak for a fair few of us here when i say that any video that starts with "hi guys, its henry here" is one i'm going to enjoy. Doesn't matter what the subject of the paintjob is, and even individual models i might not care about theres always some trick or technique i can take away

@@stemes2860 Do it! Learning how to airbrush was the best hobby decision I ever made. It's a gamechanger when it comes to painting, especially for hard to paint colors like your whites and yellows. You will never clog any details with too much paint or brush stroke marks ever again.

Henry, I love your videos, you inspire me to get on with those bigger projects. Those master class books got me back into the hobby and you show the practical application of those techniques. Beware of longer videos as they tend to skew your ratings so I would break them down into parts. That also helps if there is a particular technique where it is helpful to watch over again.

Henry, I couldn't agree more on the Ultra-Mat finishes. Something that I stumbled onto years ago was Vallejo Decal Fix - its more mat that mat finishes, but not ultra-mat. Unfortunately I cant find it in larger bottles, but if you are ever in a hurry and don't want to mix varnishes, its handy to have a small bottle on hand. Its been my goto varnish for years. This video was a real treat. I enjoyed it very much.

From a "tutorial" perspective I also found this one very helpful as it shows some techniques you rarely see. Vehicle panel modulation is a bit of an enigma to me and this was a very good explanation of the approach you used!

20:40 have been thinking about mixing in pigment to create very fine texture as well. For example on heavily corroded weapons like the ones on a skeleton for example. Would love to see you experiment with that on smaller stuff as well.
