As cool as Fulgrim looks, GW still cant sculpt a decent looking batwing. Knock it off with all the wrinkles and stretch-lines...ITS A MEMBRANE....IT FLEXES! I'D LIKE TO HAVE SOME SMOOTH SURFACE TO PLAY WITH PATTERNS AND MARKINGS, FFS!!! STAHP!!!

Both great models, its the price of the fw one that is the problem and its the one i prefer tbh. The models being released together isn’t bad based on price difference because if you really want the heresy one but can’t really afford it or want to transport it! Then u hv the plastic option. Also i really like the idea of a friendly rivalry between the studios, especially when both of them hv smashed it!

18:48 I don’t want to hate on anything. I don’t particularly like the idea of any primarchs in 40K, but I’m more accepting of the twisted monstrous daemon ones, because their transformation maintains some of the mythical aspects of them. I don’t like the pose. Angron is barreling forward. Mortarion is sort of limp and hunched over. Magnus is proudly lording it over people. Should the daemon primarch of Slaanesh be lurching forward in an attack pose? I don’t know. I would have liked to see it prancing about. Peacocking. The weird giant twin daemons for AoS captured that sort of feeling pretty well I think. That torn open bit of flesh to reveal the icon is also giving me the creeps, so points for that.

New fulgrim faces were all a miss for me, but there's a lot to be said for having a plastic version. I find dealing with resin vents in visible areas, and warping, and gap filling so much more annoying...as well as the fragility. That said, would have been quite happy if they had ported the resin version to plastic.

I don't game. The lore and models are great, like Andy, I don't feel the urge to game. With that said, from time to time, I will think what a full display standard Chapter might look like (e.g. Salamanders or Dark Angels). You hobby the way you want to hobby, enough said.

Plastic Fulgrim's face is Zoolander's blue steel...He looks a bit stupid in comparison to the majestic look of Forgeworlds.

It is wildly odd that they have both fulgrims out so close together - i'd also like to say that Morathi being a winged snake lady is also wild, surely theres other design space they can lean into. Its different markets isn't it though. BUT, i can see how they've chosen to do the resin fulgrim rather than a plastic duel kit as the art design in both games are subtly different, 30k does feel allot more 'grounded'. So push out the second 'ascended' sculpt as fulgrim before its availble cheaper in plastic and i think all other duplicates will have far more space between them. Ascended Angron won't be for ages (was he a demon in 30k come to htink of it), whilst i'd put money on ascended pertarabo to be soon with his plastic kit a LOOOOOOONG way off. But also, we've got duplicates of the loyalist primarchs so theres that.

What texture / paint do you use on your bases? They look so simple but so clearly .

I cant count the amount of times ive rewatched this tutorial. So bloody good. I am changing up my world eaters red to this. When you spray the vermillion over the preshade, do you take it all the way until the vermillion is opaque or leave a bit of white still visible? I can never seem to get my vermillion highlight as bright. Thanks for all vids. Amazing channel.

Hi Henry, thank you for this incredible video very instructive. I have been trying to replicate the black scheme, but I find it much brighter than your video. Expecially the VMC Black, it's so matte it almost make no contrast with the Corvus Black. Maybe I have been too light with the Corvus?

I appreciate this kind of Iron Hands scheme. They keep getting portrayed as another basic black even by GW. They try to keep them from looking too close to the Iron Warriors. But both IW and IH are about raw metal and machine oil. They're going to look similar. Nobody's going to mix up Iron Hands anyway without the hazard stripes.
