Sorry to tell you that San Cristobal IS NOT the cultural capital of Mexico, this would be Mexico City or CDMX by a lot. One of the cities with the most museums, galleries, music and more.... and while San Cristobal is very nice, I'll take CDMX, Puebla or Merida over San Cristobal. Oh you want cheap, head to GUadalajara, the cheapest city
