Love you guys!! Recently discovered you guys. Kemar is funny and honest. In regards to personal space, don't think it's an American thing. Lots of people are that way. I'm a pisces like katonya and I love my space too. I don't always wanna be around folks. I'm Jamaican living in the US and I agree with everything he said because I've noticed those things too. I notice many parents, mothers especially, don't allow grown kids to be independent. You have to let them be independent and if they have a little difficulty then you help them. Parents won't be alive forever to help kids so they need to know how to cope when you're gone. Independence is admirable. 🫶🫶🤗🤗♥️♥️♥️🙏🙏🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸💐🌺🌴🪴

Hey you guys loving 🥰 your podcast. Been married now 1year to my love this past September 12th 2022. Married to a Jamaican too our experience is simular Lol 😂 So worth it. Can’t wait to officially moved to Negril Jamaica with my husband. Anyway Kemar your absolutely correct about Us Americans except your mis-understanding about space. Spending time alone is essential in all forms of relationships. The me-time is a moment to rediscover yourself, think, reflect and enjoy. Besides, specific individuals need breaks from everything once in a while; otherwise, they will break down. But it definitely should be explained why so you both can reason with one another

I don’t think it’s selfish to have personal space sometimes. It’s ok to share space too~ but alone time is needed. It may change for you Kemar as you get older. As an American woman who has a Bahamian/Turks and Caicos Island man who's 7 1/2 yrs younger than I, this it's true what he's saying. I live in Turks and caicos and I use to be this way but I've adjusted. My man is a chef so we do eat out maybe on the weekends but I was also married to a Turks and Caicos Islands man for 17yrs and we lived in Miami and I cooked 6 days a week. I also had to learn to share my space because my man comes from a huge family. I became thick skinned years ago because that's Island living. I still do work on trying not to be demanding but yes Island men are laid back and not in a rush.
