The thing I learned over time is that no matter what decade it may be there will always be something that causes a panic when it comes to stuff like this, it's always been like this. But it bothers me a bit of how parents hardly do any research into stuff like this, I know being a parent isn't easy but surely a quick Google search or watching a game play will help right? It sucks when something that has a kid friendly look to it will be seen as "some kids thing" when that always isn't the case and we still have that never ending problem of cartoons means kids stuff. I really wanna hope that maybe there are smarter parents out there that know what it is and know what there doing.

Thanks to Poppy Playtime, we now live in a society where Huggy Wuggy robs people in real life. Not complaining though, because that's hilarious.

When I lost my job, I found comfort in Poppy Playtime to distract me. I was obsessed to the lore. I finally got a new job, at a school. I kid you not, you wouldn't step into that hallway without seeing a kid with a Huggy Wuggy doll . This was before chapter 2 even came out. Some of these kids don't know canon from fan content. So I'm not surprised if the idea of whispering songs was a thing.

I don’t like how people don’t do their research and just assume that everything poppynplaytime related is actual canon or something real the developers support (like the cutting themselves part with the kids and saying huggy wuggy said to do it when he literally doesn’t in any games and stuff 💀)

Midwestern fat women have always been like this. My mom never let me watch Harry Potter because it was "witchcraft", nor was I allowed to play Pokemon because they were "demons/pocketmonsters". 🙄 I think scaring kids is like one of the best things ever. Kids should get scared, kids should be allowed to explore and get hurt a little... I am an old man, so I didn't truly appreciate Poppy playtime but it is funny to know kids are having nightmares over it lol.

As someone who works with 3-6 Kids with autism it shocked me to see Kids showing their hugy wagy dolls that their parents bought them and says out loud "it's a monster that eats people" i tried to explain my fellow companions at job what is this doll and were it came from and it's not suitable for kids morality and they didn't really understand me because they don't know what horror games are 😅 I also encounter the problem with fnaf since most people were I live are not interested in this kind of stuff so its more like luck of information and a bite of ignorance

Nah, even the news got huggy held captive😭, when I was like 6 or 7 I saw the poppy playtime chapter 1 official trailer. And little 6 yr old me was thinking it was just a game like fnaf, bendy, hello neighbour and stuff and it was, so when the ripoff huggy toys came out I asked my mother to get one for me, one week later, it came! And I loved it! When chapter 2 came out I saw mommy long legs plushies and when it was my birthday I got a mommy long legs plush, a kissy missy plush, and a poppy playtime lego set. And on my birthday this year I GOT THE FUCKING SMILING CRITTERS

Wow, things NOT MADE FOR KIDS scaring kids? Shocking. Maybe parents should make sure kids do not see non-kid friendly things on the internet! And kids doing harmful stuff because some dumb character told them to? Haha no, your kid has mental health issues don’t blame a character for it and get them help. DON’T blame a piece of media for every issue your child has.

Poppy playtime is an amazing game and my top 5 in lore, story and visuals. The problem is society, children (mostly back when chapter 1 and some of 2 was out) kids went CRAZY FOR IT. i saw so many bootleg merch of it causing me to go insane (joke). The newd literally saying that this 'poppy huggy doll' telling people to cut yourself/others is stupid, that is called hallucinations and even nightmares. Parents should check on what younger kids are watching. But im glad the stupid bootleg merch has died down a bit. Poppy Playtime will still be, one of ny most favorite games of all time.

OK, this is stupid. Those dolls look terrible. I don’t know how kids are being nightmares from huggy Wuggy because he freaking is just a Cookie Monster with lips. I like huggy Wuggy I have the official huggy Wuggy doll, but I used to have one of those fake ones they suck but they are not scary and I don’t know why adults are fussing over them like they are scary and when did huggy have the time to whisper in someone’s ear like what? I run a whole Poppy playtime channel here it’s not that scary….
