In the middle of the 90ies every pub played these songs loudly, Techno and Eurodance where everywhere. So that's the reason, why I still love them -it reminds me of my childhood. It was different, we were free and there where no cellphones (for the children), we had only a little money for the public telephones in our pockets and spend the most time outside playing with our friends...

I was Born in '95' and my mother had me when she was 19, she burned what are now trance-techno classics to a handful of Cd-Rs in the days of napster and kazaa, which she would play and BLAST in the main area of the house around when i was like ages 5 through about 11, it was her 'workout' / 'intense dancing' while cleaning soundtrack. I still have several of those Cds. I always remembered hearing fast-paced pulsing nnce-nnce-nnce and running out into the living room to see aerobics or fast-cleaning! I would join and do jumping-jacks or land on my knees and and furiously pick bits of cereal off the rug! Good times!

This is massive hit from the golden age of dance music. Mr Vain by Culture Beat probably in the top 3 of all time best. The 90's the best of the best. Who agrees ?
@xSayPleasex3 жыл бұрын
Top 3 Eurodance for sure. I might give Snap! - Rhythm is a Dancer the nod because it undoubtedly influenced Mr. Vain having released a year earlier and also being from a German group. All time dance music? It gets crazy subjective but for me something like Bee Gees - Stayin' Alive from disco era might be tops.
@ldforeverphchannel74643 жыл бұрын
@@xSayPleasex I agree 101 %. "Rhythm is a Dancer" by Snap is definitely in the top 3 of all time best from the golden age of dance music next to "Mr Vain" by Culture Beat. Now the big question is ??? Who's in the number 3 spot to complete the golden trident??? Maybe... "What is Love" by Haddaway ???
@xSayPleasex3 жыл бұрын
@@ldforeverphchannel7464 I certainly wouldn't argue with Haddaway! Damn near a perfect Eurodance track with a more unique lyrical style for the genre I think. I guess Real Mccoy - Another Night would be a contester also.

Maybe cause i was more mature since i was in my 20s during the 90s. In terms of the clubbing/rave/dance party scene it never lost its edge. It is and still is probably very exciting. TWENTY years old? Wow, back in the nineties twenty year old music was seventies stuff, which sounded from a different planet. This still sounds like a party today xD

Loved this song when I was a kid. I would have been around 9-10 years old. Aaah, memories. Also, this song sounds amazing at 1.5 speed :D
