This is classic! Culture Club was one of the coolest bands of the 80s. I don't care what anyone says, they rocked the 80s!. Thanks for posting this video for us fans.

The wind-like guitar sound in the middle of the song is still fascinating 40 years later

I like how Jon Moss gives up the charade that he is actually playing the drums about halfway through the song +-)

I bought every album the first day. When he was in a movie sound track, you know I was front row. Boy is simply extremely talented, polite and of course hiding his broken heart when Jon Moss broke up with him to be married to a woman. Several tunes that Boy wrote were about Jon. To this day, Jon lives a few blocks away and Boy still hurts. That's tough. I admire him since 1982.

Loved the 80s......my cassette boom box, tapes, Atari, MTV - so many styles of music were popular at the same time! Dance, rock, country, new wave, metal, pop - an amazing and colorful decade!

I liked Culture Club allot more than I would tell my friends back in the day. I had a cassette under my seat and play this song when they weren't with me in the car.
@kristinnunya99423 жыл бұрын
Lol I had my “no no CDs” that I wouldn’t let anyone else hear. They were just for me, and I had this one on one of them! Now I’d be rocking that shit, who cares what everyone thinks? Wish I had the same attitude back then, I would’ve enjoyed life more.
@ivyvines67083 жыл бұрын
@@kristinnunya9942 I do the same thing now myself Kristin. I don't really care what the younger generation is listening to these days. I put in my Culture Club CDs in my car, roll the windows down, and crank them up when I'm driving and I educate the world to what really great music is all about. I would be more than proud to go cruise with anyone who is a Culture Club and a Boy George fan. ;-) ;-) ;-)

They WERE!! These songs bring back those times, driving through town on a sunny day with the top down on my bright orange English convertible (1981 Triumph Spitfire) blasting my English band (Culture Club), headed to Summer parties and good times!

great rock band!!! "Miss Me Blind" combines new wave and soul music, as boy george himself said, "The aim is to be creatively fluid to make everything we do a little different. We want to be a bridge between white rock and black soul"

One guitarist is Black. Is the drummer Asian? If so, is this why they're called Culture Club? If so, then they're a very classy egalitarian band. Their music speaks for itself
@gailreed4597 Жыл бұрын
The drummer is Jewish, and "YES" the variety of their backgrounds IS the reason they chose the name CULTURE CLUB.
