I found out through DNA that I’m kalenjin but not sure which sub group but I think I might be Tugen because of some historical stories I was told. I’ll call myself Tugen.

These things are nolonger being practised. Especially in Kapropita. This was done purely for the Camera. They could have even gone to Kipsaraman or Bartabwa or Saimo Soy. Especially that part of Childbirth.

'Kabilo' have two animals assigned to it. A porcupine and a warthog. My sisters are 'Kabilo', assigned to the warthog. My maternal grandmother was a Kabilo but her animal was the porcupine. Can any Tugen or Arror clarify this?
