This track starts the album with a blast not only because of the amazing intro, but also because of the name "Culture Shock", literally throwing you into the renaissance culture, the inspiration they took from the music at that time and the modernization of that music. +RadddahTat I guess polyphia and chon really opened my eyes musically sooooo much. They really inspired me to reach for something that I didn't quite know existed but when I heard them it sounded like it was made for me. The fusion, shred, emotion, idk hard to describe. Tough to pick between those two, but over the past 3 years they have both influenced me immensely. Plini and Aaron do a masterclass if you get the VIP package to that show. The one with Angel Vivaldi and save us from the archon (who are actually from Pittsburgh like me randomly enough). I've seen chin and polyphia a few times but never the anyone on intervals tour! Who's your favorite? Btw, definitely get that VIP, it was like $85

+Daniel Winschel +Daniel Winschel that's crazy, I used to listen to Ariateia a lot (and if you like dreamy stuff look up green dream) they are my all time fave band and they got me on Polyphia. Then intervals after. Epiphany by them changed my life. Then I found Plini which I would say would be my favorite. The emotion and the essence from all of these bands remind me of why music exists haha but what do they do in masterclass?

Will never forget the first time I heard this record several years ago. It auto played after finishing intervals the shape of colour. I was in another room but came immediately on that first time signature change. Stood and listened to the whole thing in complete. I've been in love ever since. A true masterpiece among masterpieces.
