It gets old very quickly though since it all sounds the same unfortunately. I felt the same way loooved them, then about 2 weeks later I just didn't feel it. all amazing musicians and everything but man a little diversity would have been nice.
@dylanwarren8376 жыл бұрын
I felt the same way. Was thoroughly impressed at first, but it does get old fast. It feels almost TOO technical, as if it's missing personality, soul, or style. As if I can predict every sound that is going to come next because it is SUPPOSED to come next. (Maybe that is its own style) And no, I don't just say that because they're instrumental, I listen to a lot of instrumental bands. To me, what I hear reminds me as if it was all input into a computer and played-back and recorded. (Idk how they recorded it). Either way, it definitely sounds pretty.
@musingsofmessa6 жыл бұрын
NZO MV I think I can say the same. This album reminds me of Angel Vivaldi, and Divinex, too. This kind of music doesn't really get "old" to me after listening to it for a while, either. Sometimes, you can just listen to instrumental tracks like this, and just imagine what the lyrics would be by the tone of the song.

Wdym RTYWD is far better than this album(not saying this album is bad I absolutely love it especially paradise), and I do admire ur opinion bc everyone has their own taste like personally I found NLND best. But the reason I say RTYWD is better is bc of its vast variety of styles and genres in literally every song, it felt more like a more experimental album than all of the other albums. Some people (like u) find a specific album of theirs that just matches ur taste amazingly which is completely understandable, but if u take into accountability just the raw quality and ideas and work put into the albums RTYWD is undoubtedly the best.

Been playing for nearly 20yrs, only just discovered these guys last June - although I liked the percussion and melodies, I honestly didn't really like the vibe because I thought it just sounded ridiculously over produced ...then I saw them play live and was like _"ohhh shit! They_ *really* _play like that?!"_ I honestly didn't even know you _could_ do some of the stuff I've seen/heard them do.. sure, finger picking, pinch harmonics, bending, hammer-on's/off's etc, we know them well - but _every_ technique possible and a bunch of invented ones thrown in too; and all within like half a bar of music?! Seeing them play live was really a Matrix level *"he is the one!"* moment

The ending from "Ivory" sounds like the ending from "Transcend" on their "Inspire EP". But to listen closely I hear all sorts of Inspire throughout Renaissance. its sooooo amazing to watch how these kids at the have progressed! over time there all extremely individually talented and there's no one that can even compete with their instrumentals!!!!! 🤘🤘

Still their best album. I appreciate them trying new stuff, but the sound on this record is amazing.

I love all their albums but this is definitely their best. I love the vocal collabs and new stuff etc etc... but this is their best batch of riffs and songs in my opinion.
